Dr. Tim Barnette
Tim came to FFBC in 2019 from Salisbury, NC. He grew up in Saint Albans, WV, and came to faith in Christ as a young child. After graduating from West Virginia State University, God called Tim into ministry at the age of 21. He holds Master’s degrees from Luther Rice Seminary and Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div., M.A.R.) and did his Doctoral work at Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and Covington Theological Seminary (D. Min.).
He is married to Kara and they have 3 awesome kids: Christopher, John, and Anna. His passion is to see others come to know Christ as Savior!
Tim loves being with his family, hiking in the woods, and watching the Duke Blue Devils play basketball.
