Galatians 2:20 “For I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me.”

Kenny Stidham

Pastor of Christian Education and Outreach

Kenny comes to Five Forks (2021) after serving for 27 years as a Senior Pastor in Scott Depot, WV. He grew up in Virginia where he came to know Christ as Savior and Lord at the age of 21. After receiving a Fine Arts Degree from East Tennessee State University (1979), he worked as an illustrator in Houston, TX. It was there that he was introduced to his wife, Karen, Southern Baptists, and a call to ministry. He then earned a Master of Divinity degree at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (1987) and was called to West Virginia where he served for 32 years. He completed the class work for a Doctor of Ministry from Liberty University (2010).  In addition to his passion for preaching the Word of God, Kenny has been involved with international missions, church planting, and leadership development.

Kenny and Karen’s greatest joy is to see their three grown children walking with the Lord, and to spend time with their two grandsons. Kenny also enjoys oil painting, woodworking, and playing basketball.
