FIVE FORKS COMMUNITY

A Community of Believers

Five Forks Baptist Church desires to be known primarily for our devotion to Christ, His teachings and our love for one another. Our community is simply those who love Jesus and live in fellowship with each other. When the world sees this in action, our goal is for them to see the true love of Jesus and perhaps find themselves attracted to Christ, too.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What should I wear?

Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. Come in a coat and tie, or blue jeans and sneakers – either way, you won’t be alone. The Bible reminds us that “God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” (1 Samuel 16:7)

Where do I park?

Any place is fine! There are three entrances to the property from Batesville Road. Each parking lot has designated guest parking; however, feel free to park anywhere. Handicap parking is also available at each building (also designated with signs). Parking attendants will be glad to help you if you’re having trouble finding a space; just let them know you’re visiting. Any entrance is fine. However, if you are dropping off childern, you may want to enter from the North parking lot that’s clearly marked as the Children’s entrance from the street.

Are my kids welcome?

It is our desire to partner with parents to see each child receive Christ and to help them grow as Christians. Safety is also important to us. That is why we require a background investigation, through Shepherd’s Watch, for all leaders and volunteers. Also, we proudly offer Kid Check as our check-in software system. Children are important at Five Forks.

Is there a nursery?

Yes! Our nursery is staffed with loving volunteers for all our church services. They provide safe and nurturing care for our youngest children through 3 years old. FFBC Kids check-in is located at the entrance of the children’s wing. You’ll enter your information at the check-in computer with the assistance of our greeters.

What will a worship service be like at Five Forks Baptist?

Worship is the outflow of our satisfaction with God. At Five Forks, we treasure and value Christ above all things. Each week we gather to honor God through music, teaching, prayer, and fellowship with one another. Our worship service consists of a blend of traditional and contemporary music, scripture reading, and a practical and relevant message from the Bible. Check out our most recent sermons.
