The FFBC nursery is equipped to minister to children from Birth to four years of age. It is our desire at FFBC to offer a space that is safe and clean; to establish an atmosphere of love and laughter for young children, so they may experience the love of Christ from the volunteers caring for them; to give parents confidence (as best we can on our end) that their precious children are being cared for by loving and trustworthy caregivers and volunteers. We believe every child and parent can experience the wonderful love of God through the nursery ministry.Learn More

We feel worship is the human response to the self-revelation of the Triune God, which includes three aspects. First, a divine initiation in which God graciously reveals Himself, His purpose, and His will. Second, a spiritual and personal relationship with the Father through Jesus Christ enabled by the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Finally, a response by the worshiper of joyful adoration, reverence, humility, submission and obedience. Worship is a dialogue between God and man and we see it play out in the Bible and in our own lives.
When we gather to worship on Sunday in the presence of God we want to remember who we were (sons of disobedience) and celebrate who we are now (adopted sons and daughters of the living God). We gather to hear from God through the reading of His word and the counsel of the Holy Spirit speaking to our hearts. We gather to respond to God’s love and grace and we humbly adore our Savior with prayers of thanksgiving and songs of praise. We gather to prepare through the study of His Word to fulfill the Great Commission and go into all nations.

Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Five Forks Baptist Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Each Sunday, during the morning service, a team of volunteers is praying for the ministry of the Word. Throughout the week, volunteers to our Partners in Prayer team, pray for their pastor, a list of church members, any special requests, and missionary prayer needs. Each Tuesday, the Prayer Partners come together for a special time of prayer for the needs of our church, community, nation, and world.Learn More
